- It is volunteer time!! Here is the link, I really need you to get this filled out as soon as possible, if I can appeal to people before the Holidays, they can get it calendared ahead.
- Volunteers for judges must be over 18, please try to discourage parents from this role. Students over 13 and under 18 can volunteer, we will iuse them as runners, as table resetters, etc.
- We need about 62 volunteers to run the program. Judges and Refs have to do some online training. We are thinking of trying to provide again a time they can come for training in January. I have offered pizza and snacks, tried it as an open house and as a group, I've tried everythin, any suggestions?

- Jigs can be used, just must be moved prior to the robot beginning mission
- To launch, nothing attached to the robot can extend over the black line before the sponsors in the white quarter circle.
- The robot must return to the end of the table that is not covered by the mat, not to the launch quarter circle.
- Info on Projects, make sure your students can explain how their solution is better than a solution already in use, or that is close. An example from today's scrimmage, kids were going to make tree houses. They couldn't give a reason that held up to questioning about why that was better than houses on the ground where people just did other thinkgs to protect the environment.
- Tournament Info, t-shirts are being ordered, trophies are on the way, what questions do you have?

- Jobs we need filled, Judges: Core Values (teachers are excellent), Robot Design (Engineers rule for this, but really anyone can do it), Project (also a good spot for teachers), Score runners, Referees (they score the robot games), Runners and Stagers (they make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be on time, younger volunteers excel here), Hospitality hosts, lots of other roles.

- Schedules are being sent out. Please emphasize that students don't arrive until 8:00 AM on tournament day
- Please pick up your stand. You can make a poster for it or use a T-shirt on it. You will need to fill the can with something to hold in the pipe. Pick them up at the TLC Friday from 12:30-4:00 to pick it up.
- Volunteers: We have all the volunteers we need, volunteers wear silly hats
- Buildings may be set up during the prep time OR during the 2:30 run
- You may bring a box to the table to transport your robot/attachments but everything must then be placed in home. Box must be stored away from the table.
